Special Dietary Needs

 

Food allergies, intolerances and other dietary-related medical conditions are a growing concern for schools. Children who are affected can suffer a severe or even fatal reaction if they eat or come into contact with food they’re allergic to.

If your child has food allergies, intolerance and other dietary-related medical conditions we are not already aware of please let the school know immediately.

You will also need to read the information contained the ‘managing special diets’ pack available to download below and complete the Special Diet Information form. This information will be shared with our catering partner Sodexo who will make sure your child gets alternative meals that are safe for them.

Cultural or Religious dietary requirements, including Vegetarian or Vegan preferences

Our catering partner Sodexo ensures their menus offer a diverse range of foods to cater for pupils of all backgrounds.

If you have indicated your child’s cultural and religious dietary requirement as part of the admission process, or any subsequent update of your child’s records, you do not need to take any other steps, this information shows up on our till systems when your child purchases food in the canteen.
